CAPITAL CLASSIC AND MEDSTAR SPORTS MEDICINE PARTNER WITH THE B&G CLUBS OF GREATER WASHINGTON TO HOST A SERIES OF BASKETBALL AND LIFE CLINICS

Feb 8, 2017

The Capital Classic, the Nation’s Most Legendary High School All-American Game, and MedStar Sports Medicine are proud to launch their 2017 partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington (BGCGW). The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington is to help boys and girls of all backgrounds, especially those who need it most, build confidence, develop character and acquire the skills needed to become productive, civic-minded, responsible adults. The decision to restore the Capital Classic to iconic status was not only to protect the game, but also to continue the guiding principle of giving back through philanthropy and outreach.

The partnership is scheduled to kick-off with a clinic on February 10 from 5:30-7:00pm at the Richard England 14 Boys and Girls Club, 4103 Benning Road NE in DC. The clinic will be hosted by Capital Classic CFO Pete Deoudes and Streetball legend Randy Gill (AKA White Chocolate).
